Our recent swimming carnival was a fantastic day, blessed with perfect weather at around 30 degrees, which encouraged participation from both students and staff. The energy was high with numerous nominations and extra entries on the day, and the novelty events were a hit as always!

A special congratulations to Milan Pozsgai, who broke two records. Milan set a new under 15 breaststroke record with an impressive time of 19.95 seconds and also beat the under 15 freestyle record with a time of 16.20 seconds. Well done, Milan!

A highlight of the day was the responsible behaviour demonstrated by our students. With only a few reminders, they adhered to our SunSmart Policy by sitting in the shade, wearing broad-brimmed hats, and keeping their t-shirts or rashies on.

Looking ahead, our Interschool Swimming team is set to compete in Clare in week 4. We wish them the best of luck!
