End Of Term Arrangements
As we enter the final weeks of term one, staff are finalising assessments and have started the process of generating school reports. Information regarding Parent teacher interviews will be distributed towards the end of term. Parent teacher interviews will be taking place on Tuesday May 6 from 4:00pm.
The final day of the term is Friday, 11th April. Dismissal will be at 2:15pm. Parent consent is requested for students to be dismissed at 2:15pm. Friday will begin with a celebration assembly where we will present our Personal Best awards for students who have gained ‘EXCELLENT EFFORT’ in all or most subjects across the term. Reports for all students will be distributed at the end of the day in Homegroups. Students who are absent on the day can access reports electronically via Daymap at the end of the day.
Term 2 will commence on Monday, 28th April.
Final Weeks Term 1
As we work through the final weeks of Term 1, we encourage students to make every effort to learn, grow and achieve their best. Please reach out and work in partnership with Subject Teachers to discuss any queries and negotiate proactive strategies to help students grow their learning and achievement.
Governing Council
Our next Governing Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 2nd April at 6:30pm.
This is our first regular meeting for the 2025 school year and there are many positive initiatives to report on, including growth in our student learning experiences, wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
ERINGA Update
If you have driven past the school in recent weeks you may have noticed progress on the roofline of Eringa. Major works on the chimneys is nearly complete and work has commenced on roof truss installation in preparation for roofing to commence. Our new classrooms have the steel framework up and there is rapid progress across the entire site.
I am looking forward to a productive end to the term with a focus on student achievement and learning. I would like to acknowledge the significant work of our staff, the efforts of our students and the great support from our community across the start of 2025.
