Tourism Excursion to Adelaide Hills
On Wednesday 19th March the Year 12 Tourism class left the classroom behind to be a tourist in the Adelaide Hills. We had an itinerary of Whispering Wall, The Big Rocking Horse, Melba’s Chocolates, Wrights Cheese shop, Beerenberg Strawberry Farm and Hahndorf Main street.
In true tourist form we had a slight detour due to Google Maps, and then some added excitement with a fire in the Williamstown area after we left from Whispering Wall.
It was a tiring day for the students, where they were looking forward to going home for a nap! It’s hard being a tourist!
A huge thankyou to Cindy Ruediger and Naomi Argent for driving and I hope the families are all enjoying the chocolates and strawberries that were delivered home!
The students will now have to produce a promotional video for the Adelaide Hills to promote the area to visitors.
