Academy for Enterprising Girls
I am really pleased to share the success of the recent Academy for Enterprising Girls (AEG) workshop, where students from Years 8 to 11 had the opportunity to develop and showcase their entrepreneurial skills.
Throughout the day, seven teams of young women worked collaboratively to generate innovative business ideas, create prototypes, and deliver pitches—all within the given timeframe. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and engagement were evident as they embraced the challenge with determination.
The atmosphere in the room was incredibly positive and productive. Students thrived in their groups, collaborating effectively, problem-solving, and presenting their ideas with confidence and pride. It was truly inspiring to see their passion for entrepreneurship come to life.
The workshop provided an invaluable experience for our students, reinforcing essential skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, and public speaking, all within a structured and supportive environment.
