Student Sporting Achievements
Milan Swimming Success
Congratulations to Year 9 student Milan on his recent success at the 2025 South Australian Age Swimming Championships. Milan represented the Barossa Swimming Club, and competed in six events, progressing to the finals in all. Milan went on to win the Bronze in the 100m Freestyle. He also got his second National Qualification time, he will now go on to compete in the 2025 Australian Age Championships in Brisbane. Amazing effort Milan!
Rylee Athletics Success
Year 9 student Rylee recently competed in the State Athletics Carnival. Rylee competed in four events and made it to the finals in all. He finished:
4th in Long Jump
5th in 100m Sprint
5th in 200m Sprint
1st in Hurdles- with a time of 27.90 (the state record is 27.12)
