Year 12s: End of School Year
Congratulations to our Year 12 students, who had their official last day of Year 12 subject lessons on Friday, 24th October. Well done on your dedication and efforts throughout your final year of studies. On behalf of our school community, we wish you the best of luck and much success for your final assessment tasks and exams. We look forward to celebrating your achievements and successes in the near future.
End of Year Preparations
Kapunda High School Year 12 Graduation Evening will take place on Thursday, 13th November at the Kapunda Institute. This event will focus on celebrating the success of our graduating class of 2025.
The Years 7-11 Presentation Evening will be held on the evening of Monday, 8th December. As in previous years Academic achievements, Service to our Community and Volunteering will be recognised on the night.
Year 12 Taster Day
Monday, 24th November is the last official day for our Year 11 students. This is an opportunity for students to review and finalise their subjects for 2026. For the majority of subjects our teaching staff use the day to introduce the course and provide resources that may allow students to get a head start to next year. This is a compulsory day for all Year 11 students.
Finishing Date for Year 9 and 10
The official last day of term for Year 9 and 10 students is Friday, 5th December (Week 9).
Further information will be distributed in the weeks to come.
Governing Council
Our final Governing Council meeting will be held Wednesday, 26th November. The main focus of this meeting will be to present the draft budget for 2026 along with recognising the contributions of our 2026 Governing Councillors. We will also be farewelling some who have had a long-standing association with our Governing Council who have now had all of their children finish at Kapunda High School.
