Year 12 Tertiary Applications via SATAC

Applications for University and TAFE courses through SATAC open Monday 1st August. Students attended an information session about how to apply. The links below will help parents and students complete this process.

The newsletter is published fortnightly and is published here on the website. it can also be emailed direct by signing up to our mailing list. Alternatively, a hard copy can be sent home through your child.

DayMap Parent Portal

DayMap is our online learning management system. Parents can access information regarding their child’s assessment and attendance.

Phone and Email

If there are individual issues or queries regarding your child these can be discusses with your child’s Homegroup teacher or Year Level Manager. Please see the staff page for more information.

Payments for school fees and other school invoices can be paid via Direct Debit to the School Bank Account.

Please include the Family ID Code (eg SMIT01) in the Description Field when making payment (this is found near the top left hand side of the invoice)

Uniform Information

Devon Clothing are the suppliers of most of our school uniform items and offer an online ordering service via website:  KHS reception staff are able to assist in this process, if required and the school has a full size range of all items to assist in fitting. Policy and further information may be found here:  Uniform Information brochure. Kapunda High School has a strong tradition with students wearing our uniform in accordance with school uniform policy. A uniform committee comprising members of the Student Representative Council, Governing Council and staff review uniform options from time to time.

KHS school tie and Prefect blazer – formal wear, generally worn by Prefects and Student Representatives (The school has a number of blazers for loan for special occasions.)  However, if you wish to purchase one they are available from Devon Clothing (approximately $140). White shirts may also be ordered from KHS for SRC students to wear for official events)

Reversible House colour/navy bucket style hats are available from the school.

Bus Information

Visitors to the school are required to sign in at reception on arrival. It is an important process. (Our school staff and students need to be able to easily identify visitors to the school or indeed, intruders.) It should also be noted that visitors are not permitted to attend the school for the purpose of socializing with students during the school day.

Governing Council

The Governing Council is the central decision making body for the school. Governing Council meets monthly. For more information please contact the Principal, Kristen Masters.
