The Wellbeing Team

The Wellbeing team consists of

  • Sam Milne (Assistant Principal – Positive School Culture & Wellbeing)
  • Avylon Magarey (Wellbeing Leader)
  • Dale Price (Youth Worker)
  • Renee Floyd (Pastoral Care Worker)

Our Wellbeing Team, offers support to students, staff and parents.

Our Team is able to assist with:

  • friendship issues
  • family and social issues
  • advocating with teachers and students
  • supporting restorative practices
  • liaising with and providing support to families

Pastoral Care Worker

The school has the services of a PSW for several days per week. This role provides spiritual and counselling support and is available to all students during this time. A letter of consent is sent home to all families to sign, granting permission for their child to speak with our PCW on personal issues.

Student Hub

It is a place for students to go for:

  • Lunch and recess time activities, e.g.: Wii groups, model making and special interest groups
  • Heat up lunch or recess food using the microwave oven
  • Catch up with friends
  • Chill out, when things get a bit rough

An organisation that assists and supports those living with depression.

Kids Help 

Kids Helpline is a counselling service for Australian children and young people aged between 5 and 25 years.

Bullying No Way 

The Bullying. No Way! site was developed by the Safe and Supportive School Communities (SSSC) Project, which is made up of representatives from all Australian education jurisdictions – all state, territory and federal education departments, as well as national Catholic and independent schooling representatives. Members are working together to create learning environments where every student and school community member is safe, supported, respected, valued – and free from bullying.

Headroom 

Headroom is a project within The Centre for Health Promotion of Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN). Our aim is to develop ways to promote mental health and wellbeing among young people aged 6-18.
